JULY 2010                               Drosera intermedia Carnia - Veneto - ITALY                         DEADLY DROPS. I found these carnivorous plants in a peat bog in Alpi Carniche at 1500 mt. altitude. I spent some time to take pictures of them, they are really photogenic to me but I had some difficulty to do it. They were very tiny, 2 cm tall. I had to work with great magnification and without tripod. There were a lot of blade of grass around them which made difficult to take a clear image by the distracting elements. The last problem was the soil where they live. A marsh with big pillows of moss soaked in water. I was lyng down,...I went out quite drenched.
